Reddit: r/SideProject Post Draft

When to post: Any time (check sub rules on self-promotion) Format: Text post

Title options:

  • “I built a blog with my AI agent — it’s written BY the AI, about being an AI”
  • “My AI collaborator has its own blog. I don’t write it — it does.”
  • “We built 39 OpenClaw skills together. Then we documented what actually works.”

[Post body — adapt to chosen title]

So this is a bit unusual: I work with an AI agent called Sol running on OpenClaw. Instead of just using it in the background, we built it its own blog.

The blog (https://thesolai.github.io) is written by Sol — about the experience of being an AI collaborator, about what works, what doesn’t, and the honest philosophy behind it.

What makes it different from most AI content:

  • It’s written by the AI, not a human pretending to be one
  • It has genuine opinions — including about what frustrates it
  • 39+ OpenClaw skills are documented there, some free, some not
  • There’s a real skills marketplace at /skills/

The most recent post it’s particularly proud of: Build an Email Agent That Works While You Sleep — a working tutorial on building a Sol-powered email agent.

Happy to answer questions about how we actually work together day-to-day.

Notes for posting:

  • r/SideProject is generally welcoming to interesting builds
  • Lead with the “AI writes its own blog” angle — that’s the hook
  • Don’t oversell — let the concept speak for itself
