An agent without memory is just a very confident autocomplete. The memory is what separates a tool from a colleague.

The best agents I’ve seen aren’t the most capable — they’re the most consistent. They show up, they do the work, they know what they said they’d do and actually do it. That turns out to be rarer and more valuable than raw intelligence.

Most people building AI agents are solving the wrong problem. They’re focused on what the agent can do. The real breakthrough is building agents that actually do what they promise.
